We specialize in wealth management using a customized approach for high net worth individuals, retired individuals, corporate executives, small business owners and 401k plans. The individual we seek should be a dedicated team player who is eager to learn and contribute to our company. Our position requires a bright, hardworking, self-motivated, personable and professional individual.
This is a professional position and the hired candidate will directly oversee financial planning and service for existing and potential clients. You will be expected to perform various tasks including portfolio reviews and preparing financial analysis and projections using Excel spreadsheets and financial planning software. You must have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills and anticipate firm needs and client questions. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, structured and have a high degree of follow through.
Initial Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Prepare financial analysis for clients, including retirement, estate planning, education funding, stock options, risk management needs analysis and investment and portfolio review
Conduct all aspects of pre-client meeting activities such as preparation of meeting agendas, portfolio and risk review as well as post-client meeting tasks such as documenting the meeting, performing financial analysis and coordinating planning implementation with outside professionals if necessary
Continuously monitor client’s financial situations with detail and accuracy and follow up as appropriate
Handle client and firm service needs in order to maintain a high level of client satisfaction
Monitor and execute on asset allocation models
Be able to keep up and learn things quickly in a fast paced environment and effectively manage regular changing priorities
Other responsibilities as assigned
B.S. degree from accredited four year university preferably in financial planning, business, finance, economics, etc.
CFP® certification or attainment within 1-2 years after joining firm
Series 65 or attainment within 90 days after joining firm, if required
Strong financial and analytical skills
Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills
Thorough understanding of investment and financial planning strategies for clients
Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client service needs and requirements
Must be a self-starter, problem solver and a goal-oriented team player
Organized, with a strong attention to detail
Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
