Job Title: Associate Financial Advisor
Job Summary:
The Associate Advisor role is responsible for collaborating with Financial Advisors to facilitate the overall growth and client service of the firm. The primary responsibilities of the Associate Advisor are creating an exceptional client experience through proactive customer service, in-depth financial planning, account monitoring and rebalancing recommendations, and collaboration with other key client stakeholders (i.e. CPAs, estate attorneys, etc.). The candidate must have critical thinking skills, a passion for client service and work well within a diverse team that spans the country. Qualified candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and flexible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitoring clients' personal and financial situations with detail and accuracy to ensure a consistently positive client experience
- Supporting Financial Advisors in serving client needs through the preparation and presentation of comprehensive financial plans including tax planning, retirement analysis, estate-planning analysis, education-funding analysis, stock options analysis and risk management
- Collaborating with Paraplanners and other staff to ensure an effective financial planning workflow including data collection, review and additional in-depth analysis making it seamless for the client
- Inputting meeting notes and other relevant data in the CRM with accuracy and clarity
- Communicating with both clients and related professionals on a proactive and on an ongoing basis
- Assist in account monitoring, identifying tax loss harvesting opportunities, executing RMD requirements, and opining on trade recommendations through Orion
- Support Financial Advisors and the firm as needed to contribute to the firm’s growth and mission to always deliver exceptional service
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years previous related experience
- Current CFP designation holder, or progress toward designation is highly preferred
- Experience with trading and reporting platforms such as Orion
- Knowledge of eMoney and Redtail preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Effective communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
