The successful candidate will work with the firm’s wealth advisors to design personalized financial plans for the firm’s clients and prospective clients, utilizing the eMoney financial planning software platform. The candidate will be responsible for interviewing clients, collect their financial information required to perform the client’s financial plan, analyze and organize this information and, in collaboration with the firm’s wealth advisors, present the financial plan to our clients while being prepared to make proactive recommendations so to meet plan goals. Further, the candidate would be expected to monitor the firm’s clients progress in meeting their plan goals and manage follow-up meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be successful in this people-oriented business
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design personalized financial plans for the firm’s clients and prospective clients, supporting five of the firm’s wealth advisors, utilizing the eMoney financial planning software platform
In collaboration with the firm’s wealth advisors, present detailed financial plans to firm’s clients and prospective clients, educating them on key financial planning concepts
Responsible for monitoring progress of the firm’s clients plans and have follow-up meeting, as needed, with clients to ensure success of their plan
Seek opportunities, in working with the firm’s wealth advisors, to grow client relationships though providing added-value financial planning advice
In collaboration with the firm’s marketing staff, assist in developing financial planning content to be used for client communication/commentary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
CFP required, CPWA preferred
2+ years of experience in providing financial planning analysis and advise to HNW/UHNW clients
Estate Planning/Trust/Fiduciary specialist experience is preferred
Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgement and experience
Superior communications skills, both oral and written, strong presentation skills
Comfortable interacting with high net worth individuals, in both physical and virtual formats, in advising them on financial planning concepts
Ability to collaborate in a professional and constructive manner within a team-oriented culture
A demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet established goals for delivering financial planning deliverables to clients
Desire to work successfully in a small company environment
Unimpeachable ethical standards
A bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university with a strong educational foundation in finance and economics
Experience with eMoney financial planning software is required
Proficiency in working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
