Scholarship with Summer Internship

The purpose of this scholarship is to support future female financial professionals pursuing a career in wealth management. We understand that education and experience in this field is essential to success for clients and professionals alike; the recipient of this scholarship will receive $1,500 toward their college tuition, as well as a paid summer internship with Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc.

Award Details

  • $1500 scholarship award plus a paid 2021 summer internship at Budros, Ruhlin & Roe
  • Award selection based on application, academic achievement, recommendations, and panel interview
  • Winners announced by Friday, November 20, 2020

Eligibility

  • To be eligible to apply for the Peggy M. Ruhlin Women in Wealth Management Scholarship with Summer Internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A female student enrolled in a finance or related major at a university in the US
  • Plan to pursue a career in personal wealth management and/or obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification
  • Able to complete Summer 2021 Internship (May - Aug) with Budros, Ruhlin & Roe
  • The preferred candidate will be in her junior or senior year, during the internship, working toward a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Family Financial Management or similar major or degree
  • The preferred candidate will have taken some courses toward the CFP(R) designation
