ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our financial advisors are passionate about servicing, retaining and growing small to mid-size client accounts. They also assist the senior advisors service larger, more complex relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all planning, analysis, risk tolerance discussions for investment and other decisions that affect the client relationship and consult with lead advisor on complex or potentially risky decisions
  • Meet with clients on a regular/as needed basis to update the progress of their financial goals/objectives
  • Specific advisory work may include, but is not limited to:
  • ▫ Preparing and updating financial plans
  • ▫ Preparing and presenting insurance cases
  • ▫ Developing asset allocation strategies and investment policy statements
  • ▫ Advising clients on appropriate financial services and products given their plan
  • Grow existing relationships by adding more assets under management, identifying opportunities for more services and identifying referral chances
  • Develop new client relationships and add new clients primarily from referrals of existing clients as well as by developing their own referral sources

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a fiduciary capacity
  • Must have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills, solve problems, work within a team and anticipate firm needs and client questions
  • Must be detail oriented, structured and have a high degree of consistency
  • Creative, with a breadth of interests, and an intrinsic initiative to learn
  • Must be able to keep up and learn things quickly in a fast paced environment and effectively manage regular changing of priorities
  • Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills are essential
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the financial planning industry is desired
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Thorough understanding of investment and financial planning strategies for high net worth clients
  • Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited four year university, preferably in financial planning, business, finance, economics, etc.
  • CFP® certification
  • Series 65 FINRA registration preferred
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Junxure, Black Diamond, Morningstar, eMoney and financial planning software – a plus
