Job Details

We are looking for a highly adaptable candidate to support in the delivery of financial planning, investment management, and financial coordination services to our family office clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be an active participant of a dynamic family office service team solving complex family challenges with confidentiality.
  • Ensure that all client information is accurately entered in our family office relationship and task management systems.
  • Assist with tax planning and annual tax return preparation including gathering tax documents for clients’ accountants.
  • Prepare forms needed for new bank, brokerage, and bill pay accounts.
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining various entities for clients and filing/tracking necessary paperwork related to those entities (primarily LLCs and Trusts). 
  • Maintain online family office repositories and ensure all information is properly reconciled.
  • Assist with meeting preparation and follow-up, including generating necessary paperwork and recording the meeting notes. May include participation in some meetings.
  • Support the family office service team with the new family onboarding process, including data gathering, opening new accounts, and processing account paperwork.
  • Work with third-party vendors to research invoices, set up auto payments, etc.
  • Assist in tracking action items for each client and confirming completion.
  • Prepare mail and FedEx/UPS.
  • Accounting liaison and resource for overflow in bill setup (utilities, autopay, etc.).
  • Coordinate, deposit, and follow-up on client and company check deposits.
  • Stay informed of economic and financial current events.
  • Participate in internal training sessions. Topics include: personal finance, estate planning, asset transfers, tax planning, insurance reviews, investing, cybersecurity.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions on complex client strategies.
  • Complete special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving skills and unquenchable curiosity.
  • Enthusiasm for financial planning, investments, and satisfying clients.
  • Willingness to jump in and help out where needed.
  • 1-2 years of experience (desired).

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Role is in direct communication with client managers, client service associates, family office clients and third parties.
  • Job is located in Denver, CO 80206.
  • Salary negotiable based upon level of experience.
