Financial Planning Program Advisor; Lecturer for Financial Planning and Finance courses

The Department of Finance, Insurance, Real Estate and Law (FIREL), at the University of North Texas G. Brint Ryan College of Business, invites applications for the appointment of Lecturer in Financial Planning starting in the spring 2021 semester or possibly fall 2021. The successful candidate will serve as Program Advisor for the Financial Planning track; teach four financial planning related courses and undergraduate finance courses per semester at the Denton main campus, Frisco branch campus and off-site locations (face-to-face and/or online); build strong relationships with the financial planning and wealth management industry; advise and mentor students; interface with the RCOB Career Resource Center to facilitate placements and internships for financial planning students; assist the FIREL department chair in strategic planning for the Financial Planning program; and participate in department, college and university service.
