As an Associate Advisor on the Pence Wealth Management team you will be mentored by one of the industry’s leading female advisors. Your focus will be to provide the ultimate in client service resulting in retaining any firm clients that may be assigned and adding new clients to the firm. The best part is you won’t have to do this alone. Starting on your first day, you will have access to systems, training, mentorship, and an investment team that will enable you to confidently focus on your number one objective; acquiring clients. All investment portfolios are managed by our investment team so that you can concentrate on building the client relationship.
Responsibilities
- Build, grow, and manage client relationships
- Assess clients’ needs and goals and prepare and present financial plans as needed
- Commit to a collaborative approach as you consistently act with integrity and professionalism
- Expand and deepen your own knowledge base and practices in the financial field
- Attend firm client events
- Prepare/process back office paperwork as needed
- Input and complete tasks in company provided CRM (SalesForce)
- Understand/explain account and investment details, including performance, to clients
Requirements
- A CFP Designation is preferred or a willingness to obtain
- 3-years of experience as a client-facing advisor
- Securities licensed: Series 7 & Series 66
- CA Life Insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90-days)
- Customer Record Management (CRM) system experience (SalesForce preferred)
- Client facing experience (independent BD preferred)
- Experience in high touch customer service
- Consultative sales experience
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Military experience a plus
