Pacific Capital is growing at a record clip, and we need to add more help to keep up!! This is a new position that we are very excited about!

We work hard and have fun. It's very different here, not like a stuffy bank or corporate job where you'd be somewhat lost in the mix. We're focused on getting a lot done for our clients, but having a good time while doing it. Nobody is here checking their phone and counting down the minutes til they can leave.

As a Financial Paraplanner with Pacific Capital, you will be able to apply your planning and organizational skills while becoming a personal finance expert. You have got to be:

  • A positive energy person - our office has an upbeat vibe
  • Very detail oriented - nothing slips past you or gets forgotten
  • A self-motivated list maker who loves to follow through and finish work
  • Coachable, willing and excited to learn - be a humble learn-it-all, not a know-it-all
  • A great teammate - we all work together on projects and collaborate daily on our team
  • Good with numbers, proficient on the computer - your will be preparing financial plans, analysis, and completing client reports

THIS JOB IS NOT A FIT FOR YOU IF:

  • you are a late person or you procrastinate a lot
  • you avoid setting goals and would prefer to just "wing it"
  • you have a hard time remembering names and details from past conversations
  • you don't like being held accountable or organizing your daily tasks
  • you are looking for a sales job to earn commissions

You've got to have a positive, winning attitude at Pacific Capital. We all get along very well with each other on our team and with our clients. We are a goal-focused team who all enjoy learning and pushing each other to achieve more.

Our goal is to give clients a Ritz-Carlton experience with Fed-Ex efficiency. Progress and ongoing learning is part of our culture. We are seeking a Financial Paraplanner with excellent organizational skills who loves to be productive.

Before applying, ask yourself: Are you outstanding at following through with everything on your list?

In this role, you earn a salary, plus potential bonuses and potential profit sharing payments as well. However, your income never depends on finding new clients as a paraplanner. There is no marketing required. In this position, you are able to focus on what you are great at: planning, reporting, and analysis for our existing, new, and potential clients. You will have an important role in making sure we do great work for clients as we continue to grow! Our company website is www.pacificcapital.com.

Pacific Capital Office Culture:

  • Clients come first, always
  • Professionalism and integrity are key ingredients to our success
  • We work hard, play hard, and have fun
  • Always looking to improve the client experience and upgrade our professional skills
  • We enjoy working together and celebrating the success of the team

We have up close season tickets to the Lakers, Angels, Ducks, and Pro Tennis events, and have frequent team lunches and activities so there are plenty of fun perks outside of work.
