Job Details
Who are we looking for? A detail-oriented and experienced Financial Planner who:
- Is excited to help own and drive the financial planning process
- Can quickly develop an excellent rapport with clients

- Enjoys researching complex financial planning topics and incorporating the findings into actionable client solutions
Key areas of responsibility:
Financial planning
- Organize client information (trust documents, tax returns, insurance policies, etc.)
- Develop personal balance sheets
- Prepare sustainable spending analyses
- Identify issues and planning opportunities for Senior Planner review
Client relationship management
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients by participating in client meetings with Senior Planners, assisting with follow-up emails and phone calls
- Attend company client functions
- Generate innovative ways to connect with clients
Managing workflow
- Independently manage and monitor planning team workflow to ensure client commitments are met
- Draft summary notes and emails following client meetings, clarifying objectives and outlining steps for implementation
Team Collaboration
- Actively participate in internal strategy discussions for clients
- Coordinate efforts with Operations and Investment teams to deliver an integrated client experience
- Help to extend team’s knowledge of software, processes and workflows

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CFP® preferred or demonstrated progress toward acquiring the CFP®
- 3-5 years of experience of client-facing financial planning experience, preferably in an RIA
- Technical and analytical training and experience in financial planning
- Demonstrated flexibility, versatility and ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a team environment
- Ability to work without close supervision managing and prioritizing deliverables
- Highly flexible and confidential with all matters
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning software
- Experience with CRM software and performance reporting systems
