Position Summary
The Associate Wealth Manager assists a Senior Wealth Manager in the management of the entire client relationship with Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc. The Associate Wealth Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop and deliver financial planning advice and strategies and to communicate investment outlook and performance to our clients under the guidance of a Senior Wealth Manager. As part of managing the client relationship, the Associate Wealth Manager will coordinate the resources of Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc. as well as the client’s other professionals to best serve the client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with clients, and coordinate with attorneys and CPAs, to obtain client information necessary to develop and complete financial planning strategies
- Develop the financial plan strategies considering alternatives and recommendations to meet client goals and frame the advice to be delivered to the client with the Senior Wealth Manager
- Provide support to a Senior Wealth Manager with regard to management of planning team and client relationships
- Develop and utilize wealth management planning skills and expertise
- Identify important client issues and assist with resolution; document client activities
- Learn and embrace firm’s investment approach and philosophy
- Communicate and answer questions regarding investment performance and outlook to clients

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities
- Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels and within team environment

- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Quick adapter of new software

- Experience with a document management system

Education and Job Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation
