We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly-organized Financial professional to apply specialized knowledge and skills to serve as a resource to an Advisor team and their clients regarding overall financial planning issues. As a Relationship Coordinator with Aspen Wealth Strategies, you will work with an advisor team on a wide range of projects to that focus on our clients achieving their unique goals and objectives. You will assist with implementing the advice in areas of portfolio design, tax planning, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning, education planning, and small business planning. Qualities of a successful Relationship Coordinator are strong communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, flexibility, and building trust.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Advisors in implementing advice to ensure the needs and goals of our clients are met in a professional manner
  • Work with team members on regular tasks and special projects while meeting specific deadlines
  • Provide office support including answer telephones, assist visitors, resolve and/or refer problems or inquiries.
  • Establish, maintain and update files, databases, records and/or other documents using firm systems
  • Establish rapport with clients to strengthen client and team relationships
  • Process paperwork and account transfers with our third-party custodians meeting strict industry cut-off times
  • Manage and prioritize daily tasks in a fast pace office environment
  • Develop a strong understanding of firm process and best practices
  • Research unique and complex client questions as they arise
  • Lead the client onboarding process to develop a great client experience from the start
  • Schedule and prepare for client meetings
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Client’s outside financial professionals
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Emphasis in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Professional, service-oriented demeanor with pleasant, business-appropriate phone manners
  • Analytical mindset and ability to work with numbers
  • Effective problem-solving skills to resolve routine client questions
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Convey information clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of third-party custodians preferred (Fidelity, Charles Schwab)
  • Experience using eMoney, Tamarac, and Salesforce preferred
