Financial Advisor

Established, successful planning firm in Virginia Beach, VA seeks licensed financial professional to join the team. New hire would assist lead advisor with current clients while learning the culture and service expectations. Individual would be compensated through a salary while training and learning. Individual would eventually transition to managing their own book of clients as a part of the team. Once transition is complete compensation would be derived from their book of clients. Desired candidate would possess a driving passion to assist clients with excellent stewardship of their resources, plans to stay in the local area long term and possesses needed licensure.

• Once ready to begin to serve clients, will be able to use established prospecting tools firm has to locate clients

Over time responsibilities will include:
• Providing excellent service to the clients we are blessed with through timely communication, excellent planning and regular assessments and reviews
• Monitoring and maintaining client portfolios to match their goals and needs
• Prospecting for the right clients to add
• Assisting the team in the management of the office building (planning firm manages the building that they and other unrelated businesses reside in)

• Bachelor’s Degree – helpful if in finance field but not required
• 7 plus years of work experience post college – beneficial if in finance field but not required
• FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 registrations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills
• Ability to be located in local area long term
• Ability to prioritize work and operate successfully under deadlines
• Willing and desirous of receiving constructive feedback to improve and grow
