Arbor Trust Wealth Advisors, an Ann Arbor based Registered Investment Advisor, is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor for the Ann Arbor office.

Job Description
- Responsible for supporting the Firm’s Senior Financial Advisors
- Work with Senior Financial Advisors to create efficiencies and to ensure completion of client tasks, including various client projects
- Participate in client meetings with Senior Financial Advisors
- Communicate with clients via phone, email and in-person meetings
- Transition into some existing client relationships as primary advisor
- Learn financial planning, investment reporting and CRM software
- Support the Firm’s investment function
- Rebalance client portfolios
- Research mutual funds and other investment products
- Provide support for investment committee
- Position reports to a Senior Financial Advisor
- If successful, this role would lead to a Financial Advisor position, which would include business development
Requirements
- Four-year college degree in business or a related field
- Experience in the investment field
- Series 65 or commitment to obtain said license
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, desire to be part of a team culture, and initiative to address issues as they arise
- Desire to work in a fast paced and results oriented environment; ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Strong orientation to technology with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and planning capabilities; detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
