A planning administrator provides knowledgeable planning support to the team. They serve as a resource to Financial Professionals in preparing, handling, researching and communicating inquiries regarding client financial plans and accounts and supports the Director of Planning with the various daily operations of the practice. This could include preparing all materials needed for meetings as well as solving planning related problems, answering questions, tracking, and completing tasks within systems. Future interest in obtaining CFP credential required. The position affords practical experience with a financially diverse group of clients with potential for advancement working with seasoned professionals in the financial field. Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the mission and vision of the company in all interactions
  • Comprehensive meeting preparation to include:
    • Running calculations, reports and illustrations
    • Analyzing for any potential product needs or changes
    • Filling out Meeting Guides outlining client situation and all meeting topics that need to be covered
  • Investigate and solve client planning issues
  • Help to improve planning process by thinking creatively and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Tracking of client data within various systems
  • Maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
  • Provide professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail
  • Attend all trainings and shadow other team members to develop skills

Requirements:

  • CFP or desire to gain CFP credential 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or similar experience/training
  • Experience in a professional financial planning or related role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Very strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of Windows 10
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Attention to detail
  • Pass applicable credit and background checks
  • Must be willing to work in office until competency in role is achieved, then remote work and flexible schedule is possible
