Job Details
- Old Peak seeks an accomplished, highly motivated professional with 1-5 years' experience doing financial planning.
- You have a CFP® designation and seek a role providing comprehensive financial planning at a fast-growing firm where you can have immediate impact and, over time, become one of our senior advisors.
- You enjoy working directly with clients who value your advice and who rely on you and your colleagues to analyze complex financial planning challenges.
- You enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment. We are a team of 8 professionals, and we interact with each other daily to solve client problems.
- You will initially support a senior advisor. Over time, you will become a lead advisor.
- You will create financial plans, construct investment portfolios, monitor clients' financial positions and communicate regularly with them. You are comfortable writing, speaking and performing a wide variety of financial analyses.
- We do not expect you to “bring in” clients. This is a financial planning role.
- You will have or develop expertise that is broad and deep. On any given day, you may analyze a prospect's existing investments, review a client's will, trust and powers of attorney, determine how much life insurance a client should have, or look at the tax impact of selling a holding now vs. when they retire.
- Over time, you will have opportunities for leadership roles and to leave your mark on the firm’s strategy.

• Tailored advice: Our financial plan for every client is unique, because every client's situation is unique.
• On our client's side: We are fee-only fiduciaries. Our only incentive is to recommend what is best for a client.
• Comprehensive advice: To identify every critical risk and opportunity, advice must be comprehensive -- financial goal planning, investing, insurance, estate planning, tax and liability management.
