ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our senior financial advisors are passionate about servicing, retaining and growing our client relationships. This position will assume a lead role with our client interactions as you guide them towards their financial objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all planning, analysis, risk tolerance discussions for investment and other decisions that affect the client relationship
  • Meet with clients on a regular/as needed basis to update the progress of their financial goals/objectives
  • Specific advisory work may include, but is not limited to:

 

▫ Preparing and updating financial plans

▫ Preparing and presenting insurance cases

Analyzing and presenting estate and tax planning strategies

Analyzing and presenting retirement plan strategies for business owners

Making recommendations on equity compensation

▫ Developing asset allocation strategies and working with the portfolio managers to execute

 

  • Grow client relationships by:
    •  consolidating accounts to simplify clients’ lives and  identifying opportunities for additional financial needs
    • Providing excellent client service and, as a result, becoming highly referrable to clients’ networks
    • Becoming involved in the community and adding to ProVise brand awareness

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a fiduciary capacity
  • Must have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills, solve problems, work within a team and anticipate firm needs and client questions
  • Must be detail oriented, structured and have a high degree of consistency
  • Creative, with a breadth of interests, and an intrinsic initiative to learn
  • Must be able to keep up and learn things quickly in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage regular changing of priorities
  • Must be willing to always be learning and keeping up with current events that impact our clients’ financial circumstances and goals
  • Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills are essential
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in the financial planning industry is desired
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Thorough understanding of investment and financial planning strategies for high net-worth clients
  • Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year university, preferably in financial planning, business, finance, economics, etc.
  • CFP® certification
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficient in Junxure Cloud, Black Diamond, Morningstar, eMoney Advisor and additional financial planning software – a plus
