M.C. Byrd Wealth Management has a tight – knit, team-oriented atmosphere in a small-office environment. We are located in Bellville, a 40-minute, rural commute from Katy, Texas. We are seeking someone to fill our position as the Director of Financial Planning and Operations. This team member will be instrumental in developing financial plans for both existing and prospective clients. As well as interacting with the client base on a daily basis regarding their financial questions. In addition, the team member will work with other staff regarding portfolio management and execution along with client service. We are flexible in offering this position both as an on-site position or hybrid/remote.
We’re a wealth management firm in our 31st year dealing primarily with retirees, 401ks and the Texas ORP system. We have experienced rapid growth within the past year and need employees who can adjust to a dynamic, changing environment.
Responsibilities and Activities
Work with Advisors in the development, implementation and monitoring of financial plans
Monitor and maintain our fiduciary process for our 401k clients
Monitor and Trade Model Portfolios
Quarterly Portfolio Billing
Morningstar Office Maintenance and Reporting
Coordinate completion of meeting action items with clients and clients’ advisors (CPA’s, Attorneys, etc.)
Provide outstanding client service
Attend and contribute to team meetings
Interact with our investment partners and vendors
General back up support for all other positions consisting of varied tasks as needed
Retirement Plan Onboarding and Terminations

Financial Software and Modeling Experience. Emoney experience a plus.

Work well in a small office environment with minimal supervision
Interact with clients in a friendly, warm manner
Prioritize daily tasks to be proactive in time management
