Senior Financial Planner / Case Writer

Our firm is a Dallas-based holistic financial planning firm that has provided comprehensive wealth management and financial planning services to high net worth individuals, families and business owners for over 40 years. Our longevity, coupled with the quality of our people, make this an opportunity to join the best. We are a small company with a big impact, and our growth has created an opportunity to add an experienced CFP to our team. This salaried position is responsible for preparing and presenting customized, sophisticated financial plans to our existing clients. The right candidate will also have the opportunity to take on a key leadership role in the firm, managing the case writer team and determining product/pricing opportunities.

Successful candidates will have:

• At least seven years of experience writing complex, comprehensive financial plans
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Strong technical knowledge of financial planning for high net worth clients, including the ability to develop recommendations for multigenerational tax, estate, retirement, and insurance issues
• eMoney expertise and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
• The ability to alternate between collaborating with the team and working independently
• A focus on delivering accurate, creative and comprehensive work while providing outstanding client service
• A strong work ethic and high degree of emotional maturity
• Experience managing or mentoring other case writers
• CFP required, CPA and/or JD preferred
