Experience and Skill Requirements:
2+ years of related experience preferred and has completed or is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field (accounting, finance, business management, etc.) or experience equivalent (including military service). Adaptable, accountable, and proactive; excellent communication skills (in-person, written, and via telephone); proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and other Windows-based applications; AND you must value building relationships.
Role Mission and Expected Outcomes:
The mission of this role is to primarily serve financial advisors and secondarily our clients. Some of the duties would include assisting in the monitoring and trade implementation for client accounts, gathering data for financial plans, data entry in financial planning software, preparing client deliverables, facilitating the transfer of assets, creating reports within current software systems to inform financial planning, implementing recommendations for clients, and effectively communicating with clients (both verbally and written). To be deemed successful, some of the Advisor Support Specialist’s expected outcomes are increasing the advisors’ ability to serve new and existing clients and becoming Series 65 licensed within nine months.
