The Wealth Advisor/Planner works with the team to provide services to help clients reach their life goals through financial planning. You have a strong desire to grow as a person and a professional and want to make a real impact on your clients and your community. You will serve a guide for current and future clients through the planning process.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
Your core task is to support the client relationship with regards to the financial planning process including:
- Working as part of a team to help clients define what is important to them and building, presenting, and monitoring comprehensive financial plans.
- Learning the financial planning software and helping to create financial plans for new and current clients.
- Learning new software.
- Preparing client reviews for current clients.
- Sharing expertise and experience through blogs, videos, and social media
- Learning and understanding the financial planning process.
- Coordinating money movement and trades through our CEO system
- Participating in daily meetings, training, and continuing education requirements.
- Providing positive and professional service to the client base
- Attending all firm client events
- Longer term:
- Be the point of contact within our team for specified clients.
- Grow the position into something that first you and helps push the firm forward.
WHAT MAKES THIS POSITION DIFFERENT?

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- 0-10 years experience in the financial services industry.
- Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication
- Strong and reliable internet connection. (yes, we use Zoom)
- A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Will be expected to pass Series 65 if you have not already. (Firm will provide study programs and time to study)
- Long-term will be expected to pursue advanced designation(s) above and beyond the CFP®
- Clean U-4 and U-5 history (if you’re new to the industry, this shouldn’t be an issue).

We offer a base salary, SIMPLE IRA plus matching, health benefits, a potential for career growth, and a great working environment. We feel that time away from the office is important, so our vacation policy encourages associates to take a full week every year.
St. Joseph, MO, is far enough from KC that it is not suburbia, but close enough that you can almost smell the BBQ smoke. St. Joseph has local restaurants and shops as well as major chains. Since 2010, St. Joseph has been home to training camp for the Superbowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.
