Job Summary:

Financial Planners work with individuals to meet short- and long-term financial goals. They understand complex financial and other related documents. Financial planners also have a good command of investments and security planning, estate planning, tax planning, employee benefits planning and insurance planning.

Job Description:

Candidate must demonstrate an ability to both multi-task and remain organized in all facets of this position. Some primary tasks include interviewing clients, analyzing financial information, recommending financial plans, monitoring outcomes, recording detailed meeting notes, follow up regarding meetings and responding to client and VP team inquiries. Candidate must have outstanding analytical skills, a desire to work with people, excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. Candidate must be able to create business development opportunities through plan deliveries and maintain a commitment to excellent results.

Candidate must be competent in all areas of planning including investments, education funding, debt management, income tax, charitable giving, cash flow, retirement, insurance, and estate planning. Candidate must be able to perform investment management planning tasks such as loss gain report analysis, tax loss harvesting analysis, and assist with tax planning including tax planning on appreciated gifts and stock option planning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Series 65
  • CFP Credential

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience delivering Financial Plans to prospects/clients

Job Location: Southern California  (Telecommute and Remote options may be available)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience.  Range is $85K - $125K per year.
