Under the general guidance of the Lead Wealth Planner and in collaboration with a Wealth Advisor, the Associate Wealth Planner is responsible for researching financial planning issues and opportunities and developing financial plans for Solitude’s clients. This position works both internally as a member of a high-performing team and externally with clients and their CPAs or estate attorneys. The Associate Wealth Planner is detail-oriented, ensuring records are meticulously maintained and systems are utilized effectively and efficiently.
This is an exempt, full-time, partially remote position based out of Charlottesville, Virginia.
Salary: $65,000-$95,000 base salary with bonus potential.

Essential Duties:
- Researches financial planning issues and opportunities;
- Prepares and updates financial plans to include evaluating and testing for risks and opportunities using appropriate systems (eMoney and Holistiplan);
- Follows up on next steps to assist in the implementation of financial plans;
- Maintains meticulous notes, tasks and workflows in our CRM system (Wealthbox) and financial planning software (eMoney);
- Communicates directly with clients in collaboration with the Lead Wealth Planner and your paired Wealth Advisor;
- Coordinates with client CPAs and/or estate attorney to help with implementation recommendations;
- Seeks new ways to continuously improve and better utilize technologies, systems and processes within the position’s areas of responsibility;
- Stays abreast of industry knowledge and trends through publications, literature, research and professional development opportunities;
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Applicants must be a CFP® Professional, Candidate for CFP® Certification, or plan to obtain the CFP® designation.
