Position Overview:

The Financial Advising Associate works directly with the Wealth Advisor to assist with client service activities, portfolio management and financial planning needs of clients. This role is a key member of the service team for all clients. The ideal candidate is organized, a good time manager, shows accountability, is proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients. This position allows for a flexible work from home schedule with one or two days a week spent in-office.

  • Essential Job Functions:

This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Maintaining proactive client contact and providing on-going client service.
  • Assisting with creation of financial plans in MoneyGuidePro.
  • Assisting with creation and implementation of client portfolios using client’s risk tolerance, time horizon, asset location and other parameters.
  • Conducting quarterly processes as maintained by the firm and as required by regulatory authorities.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between the firm and its custodian, Charles Schwab.
  • Assisting with analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investment portfolios.
  • Conducting investment research, reporting, and analysis as needed.
  • On-boarding of clients in accordance with firm procedures.
  • Organizes COI outreach and firm marketing endeavors.

Position Requirements:

  • College degree preferred (BA/BS/Masters/MBA)
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to obtain Series 65 within 90 days of hire

Compensation:

The pay range for the Financial Planning Associate role is $30-35/hr. In addition, the associate will receive 14 days of PTO and all major holidays off.
