Senior Investment Service Advisor:
Our client is currently seeking a Service Advisor. This role is an integral part of their team in support of both the Senior and Lead Advisors. This person will support the firm vision, positive culture, and team spirit. They must be reliable, organized and deadline driven. A qualified applicant will be dedicated, goal-oriented and able to work well in both a self-directed and collaborative environment.
The SA is building experience with clients and serves as second chair in all levels of client relationships. The SA leads the meeting/review preparation and client case prep from start to finish, as well as manage clients service relationships under the supervision of the Lead Advisors. For some SA, the role is a stepping stone to Lead Advisor while for others, the SA is a career in its own right.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support of Clients and Lead Advisors
- Ensures professionalism, promptness, and accurate follow-up on client and advisor requests
- Courteous attention and ownership of incoming client phone calls, in-person visits, and email requests
- Supports Lead advisor with the management of client investment portfolios
- Follows compliance requirements to maintain investment compliance program
- Delegates client operational requests to appropriate team member through standard operating procedures, while being accountable for results
- Supports other special projects as assigned
Client Meeting and Case Preparation
- Leads completion of pre-meeting preparation by creating agendas, organizing past notes/actions, updating necessary reports, and finalizing meeting packets per firm timelines
- Collaborate across multiple internal teams to create recommendations for clients
- Identify and communicate areas of concern and recommendations, based on review and analysis of client’s financial plan and investments
- Responsible for client meeting note dictation and meeting follow-up including assignment of tasks to appropriate team members and groups.
Leads Client Relationships
- Engages directly and is responsible for client retention and relationship building
- Leads presentation and implementation of a suitable financial plan and/or investment strategy for certain clients of the firm.
- Advises clients by understanding their needs, objectives, goals, concerns, and planning tools
- Provides periodic oversight, in line with firm procedures, to ensure the needs of the client are being met
- Ownership of client review calendar for engagement
- Serves as second chair to Lead and Senior Advisors
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Licensing:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Three years industry experience, preferred
- CFP® or equivalent designation, or willingness to attain it in first year
- Series 7, 66 or 63/65
- Life and health insurance, preferred
