Client Service Associate Intern

South Bay Financial Partners (SBFP) is looking for a three-quarter to full-time Client Service Associate intern, with the potential of becoming an employee. This individual will need to be hard-working, willing to learn, flexible, and reliable. This is a remote position. 

Responsibilities: 

Administrative duties including phone calls, emails, & scheduling meetings 

Organize and prepare meeting materials & action items 

Order office supplies for staff 

Potential client facing - handle client concerns and requests 

Assist with scanning & mailing material to and from clients  

Assist lead/senior advisor in client meetings including taking notes  

Assist with RightCapital financial planning software – entering, maintaining, and reporting client information 

Client account maintenance including opening/maintaining Schwab account, updating client profile, recording and tracking client IRA Required Minimum Distributions 

Track trade execution and other account management 

Maintain and administrate compliance requirements such as contract creation/ collection, managing client fee payments, trade authorization and verify execution 

Project management, create and monitor workflows 

Monitor & maintain Morningstar Office and Redtail CRM 

Other duties as assigned  

Experience and Skills: 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Aptitude for problem-solving 

Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Software Products 

Excellent time and task management skills 

Ability to follow through to the resolution of issues 

Ability to communicate with team in a timely fashion 

Detail-oriented 

Demonstrates initiative and finds ways to make tasks and processes more efficient 

Education: 

Minimum HS Diploma or Equivalent
