Triune’s teams work together to help clients eliminate financial stress by crafting customized plans to accomplish their financial goals and then implement customized investment strategies to match that plan.  

 

Job Description: 

Financial Planners will work closely as part of a team consisting of a Triune Partner and Client Service Associate.  The team creates, delivers and helps implement a personal comprehensive plan that typically includes:  cash flow & budgeting, goal-setting, wealth management, risk management & insurance, employer benefits review, 401(k) plan management, basic tax, and estate planning.  The goal is to develop our Financial Planners into Lead Advisors or Partners that oversee their own client team. 

 

Position Summary:

The Financial Planner (FP) must be well-organized and highly motivated to serve on a team and must put “Others First”.  They must have experience in the financial planning industry including their CFP® designation.  Triune is growing and therefore it is a fast-paced environment where the ability to adapt quickly is seen as a strength. The FP’s role on the team will be both client-facing, as well as task-oriented and there will be opportunities to both manage and participate on firm-related projects.  As experience grows, it is expected that the Planner will gain independence to manage client relationships themselves.  New business development will be financially rewarded.   

Summed up: the Financial Planner serves on a team to take excellent care of clients until they develop the necessary experience and confidence to manage their own team and client relationships. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in Partner-led client meetings and prepare follow-up communications 
  • Gather, organize, and interpret client data, financial statements and document appropriately 
  • Construct and design financial plans for clients 
  • Develop and maintain client presentation materials 
  • Maintain necessary licenses to work with certain clients independently 
  • Become proficient in using various web interfaces, CRM and planning software  
  • Be able to understand and communicate our investment philosophy in clear and understandable terms that clients can relate to 
  • Work with Triune Portfolio Administrators to on-board clients and open new accounts 
  • Research ad hoc financial topics 
  • Fulfill and maintain compliance requirements within Triune 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 2-5 years of professional financial planning experience preferred 
  • Series 65 License 
  • CFP® Designation (already obtained, or presently engaged in the process to earn designation)  
  • CKA® Designation a plus (this would be earned within Triune if not previously obtained)
