FUNCTION: Lead Advisor

WHO WE WANT

Freedom Wealth Advisors, a member of the Northwestern Mutual Private Client Group, is growing and we are excited to be looking for our next Private Wealth Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals involving the preparation, presentation, and execution of a comprehensive financial plan and investment strategy. The right candidate will have at least 5 years of wealth management experience and have a passion for making a difference in the lives of our existing clients.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Manage existing client relationships by offering investment services, financial planning, and advice/education to high-net-worth individuals through face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of investment strategies, portfolio management options, and market trends
  • Provide comprehensive guidance regarding investment, trust and estate, and tax opportunities to optimize asset location and tax efficiency while addressing needs
  • Share ownership, coordination, and preparation of client reports, presentations, and communications – emails, phone calls, CRM management, etc.
  • Review investment products currently held in clients’ accounts, both advisory and brokerage, and reallocate to the appropriate model to help clients meet their financial objectives
  • Maintain all continuing education requirements of a wealth advisor plus required training
  • Participate in growth of the firm through prospecting, networking, and obtaining referrals

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 5+ years of financial industry experience; previous advisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Acquired one of the following designations: CFP, CPWA, RICP
  • FINRA Series 7 and SIE, Series 63; Iowa Life and Health licenses (or obtainable within 3 months)
  • Strong customer relationship management
  • Highly motivated and passionate about helping people
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and keep organized Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
