Cornerstone Financial Advisors is a team-based financial planning firm nestled in Eastern Idaho since 1962. Our team works together to manage the dreams, time, money and expectations of our clients. We are partnered with our sister firm Cornerstone Tax Services in providing tax-based financial planning and accounting services.
Position Summary
Responsible for managing existing client relationships, either working with a more experienced advisor or on their own. The individual may be responsible for formulating and implementing advice, but may also rely on technical specialists to develop product, investment, or planning recommendations.
Position Responsibilities
- Development of comprehensive personal and business financial plans that are aligned with the financial goals and objectives of each client.
- Contribute to the full range of financial planning areas, including cash flow management, debt management, retirement planning, estate plan review, real estate analysis, insurance evaluation, employee benefits review, tax analysis, investment management and education planning.
- Embracing the investment strategy of the firm, providing education to clients, answering client questions, and delivering investment recommendations to help clients meet their goals and achieve financial health.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and interact with the rest of our team to improve procedures and grow the firm.
- Adhere to all compliance procedures, follow firm and industry protocols and protect the interest of the client and the firm at all times.
- Contribute to firm growth by developing referrals and leads. Participate in the planning and execution of firm level marketing to generate new clients and expand business development opportunities for the firm.
- Periodic travel may be required as part of our group retirement practice for enrollment meetings.
- Works with lead advisor on client event presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master'sdegree in business, administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Series 7, 63, 65 and Life Insurance licensed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Ability to recognize and provide solutions to problems
- Accounting experience preferred
- Bi-lingual spanish speaker would be amazing!
