Altman Advisors is seeking an experienced, goal-driven, mission-oriented Financial Planner and CFP® with a proven record of success to join and lead our Family Office Group (FOG). The Director of the FOG will serve as a financial planner and supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the FOG team, including other planners and remote support staff. The Director will conduct performance reviews, follow and improve our processes, create and implement new business strategies, prepare reports, plans, budgets, and schedules, engage community groups, oversee client onboarding and administration, and provide data-gathering, analysis, plan implementation, portfolio reporting, and other services as needed for new and existing clients. They will also be expected to develop and utilize a professional network that drives new business referrals.

Altman Advisors offers objective advice based on fundamental research and integrated planning for the entirety of our clients’ financial needs. Our Family Office Group services include risk management, insurance, tax, charitable, estate, real estate, and liability planning, and more. Our Asset Management Group has expertise in public equities and credit, and Alternative Investments, including private equity and credit, structured notes, and options strategies.

 

Duties:

    Supervise the FOG team. Create and implement financial plans for clients, including insurance, trust, estate, tax, real estate, liability, and investment planning and asset allocation advice. This process involves data-gathering, analysis, presentation, agreement, implementation, and review. Represent FOG in Leadership meetings. Prepare meeting agendas and write executive summaries. Conduct performance reviews. Follow and improve existing planning processes. Create and implement new processes and strategies. Prepare firm reports, plans, budgets, and schedules. Provide portfolio and market reports to clients. Enhance relationships with existing clients. Recruit new clients. Onboard new clients, open new accounts, and manage online services and money movement. Oversee all new client onboarding and account processing conducted by other planners. Engage community groups. Develop and utilize professional network to drive new business. Facilitate online services and money movement. Conduct special projects as needed. Prioritize, balance, and attend to an evolving array of complex needs. Communicate continuously, proactively, and promptly with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Train in and implement Supernova/High & Ultra High Net Worth industry model client service. Train in and implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) business model.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

 

    CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERä (CFP®) designation Experience creating, implementing, and reviewing customized financial plans for clients Seven years of experience working as a client-facing Associate in private wealth management Deep knowledge of financial planning and wealth management Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
