Unique opportunity to work closely with our senior planners creating financial plans and customized reporting and analyses for clients and prospects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver tailored financial plans and updated existing plans as needed
Gather data for each relationship by interfacing with a variety of professionals inside and outside the firm
Assist in addressing one-off client questions and create Excel spreadsheets to support results
Research laws and regulations on planning issues and effectively communicate to team members
Other duties as assigned
Selection Criteria
Must be enrolled or have completed an educational program in financial planning leading to certification as a CFP® and/or CPA/PFS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Manage time/stay organized in order to work on multiple projects at once with keen attention to detail
Work both independently and collaborate with colleagues in the planning group and throughout CCT
Demonstrate reliability by following through on commitments and meeting deadlines
Experience with eMoney Advisor and other planning software strongly preferred
Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, in particular)
Candidate who is detail oriented, eager to learn and takes direction well
Experience
Two+ years professional experience in an office environment with either previous work experience in financial planning/financial services or prior education in this field.
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics.
