We are a high-growth, dynamic financial planning and wealth management firm seeking a Wealth Advisor to assist us in our mission. Position Overview

You are one of the most experienced advisors in our firm and responsible for engaging with and maintaining our Tier 1 and 2 client relationships. You will focus primarily on providing advisory services and support to your select group of firm clients to help them plan appropriately for their future with an additional focus on expanding those relationships and obtaining referrals. Our service model is deeper than most and we are looking for an advisor that shares our philosophy and embraces the depth of client relationship that we feel is vital to our culture.

Responsibilities & Activities

  • Leads, manages, and engages directly with a group of clients to best support their financial, investment, and risk outcomes; engages directly and is responsible for client retention and relationship with assigned key firm clients
  • Leads strategic development of financial plans, developing recommendations and solutions in the best interest of the client and ensuring those plans are executed
  • Communicates with clients by understanding the needs, objectives, goals, concerns and translates those into an actionable and disciplined plan
  • Provide objective, unbiased financial advice to a diverse mix of clients by analyzing investment opportunities and client needs
  • Client relationship development and management, including ongoing and regular client contact and communications
  • Client meeting preparation: review all required paperwork and notes prior to meetings
  • Client service, including planning updates, portfolio changes and reviews, returns and new opportunity identification, in tandem with support team
  • Client asset management, including coordination of complete financial planning and wealth management (analysis, estate planning, tax strategies for assets under management, portfolio, and management)
  • Collaborate with client’s other professionals i.e., attorney’s and CPA’s and any other external sources
  • Cross-sell firm services to deepen existing client relationships
  • Develops COI relationships to build business opportunities for referral relationships
  • Maintains accurate notes and records regarding client matters in the CRM
  • Attend client and prospect events
  • Create original educations content for monthly marketing newsletters
  • Perform other duties and special project work as assigned

Industry Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics or related experience 5+ years of experience in investment management and/or financial advisory services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships CFP designation required Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with various financial planning, CRM, portfolio management and document management software Experience working with various custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Has a deep understanding of RIA channel and independent financial advice environment A genuine interest in serving and caring for clients
  • Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience
  • Subject matter expert in financial planning and complex client cases
  • Extensive knowledge in financial planning analysis and modeling specifically to HNW clients
  • Continuously exhibits personal integrity and professional initiative
  • Reliable, follows through on commitments, does not shrink from new challenges
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with an ever-changing industry and evolution of a high-growth firm
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
  • Possesses a passion to help new and existing clients
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to manage and prioritize tasks
