As a Private Wealth Portfolio Manager, you will be an equal member of a team and expert investment strategist managing investment portfolios on behalf of clients of The Private Bank. Be a relationship builder and manage the portfolios of individuals with at least $10 million in investable assets.

Additionally, you will provide financial and investment advice by actively managing and expanding our clients' portfolios. Join our team and become a leading force in wealth management and planning in this growing segment.

In this role, you will:
  • Elevate financial portfolios for clients of The Private Bank to identify the best investment decisions by leveraging all aspects of our world-class investment platform for client benefit and a deep understanding of all available investment solutions including individual securities, proprietary models, pooled vehicles, third part managed accounts, and other complementary or real asset strategies
  • Deliver ideas and shape client investment strategies utilizing the high-net worth tool kit to manage around concentrated positions, tax planning, and multi-generational considerations
  • Grow and cultivate new business and revenue and manage the largest and most complex client accounts and/or fiduciary accounts
  • Create financial or non-financial asset opportunities to integrate into the overall investment plan for clients
  • Make decisions leveraging a solid understanding of Wealth Investment Strategy Products (WISP)
  • Collaborate with WISP colleagues to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
  • This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling-secured product to a SAFE team member.
  • This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling-secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below


Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of high net worth portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
  • MBA, CFA or CFP (completed or pursuing)
  • 10+ years of investment management experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills




    Job Expectations:
    • Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary.
