The Associate Financial Advisor provides specialized services on a team of highly motivated and service-oriented professionals serving a limited number of ultra-high net worth families. We are looking for candidates that possess a certain philosophy toward client service along with a skill set to provide a high level of thoughtful advice.

As an Associate Financial Advisor, you will:

In collaboration with the team provide the following services:

  • Strategic investment portfolio construction and asset allocation
  • Investment portfolio performance monitoring
  • Long-term cash flow projections (i.e. financial plans)
  • Income tax advice, especially as it relates to investment portfolios
  • Retirement and college expense planning
  • Life insurance reviews and adequacy
  • Estate planning and wealth transfer strategies
  • Charitable planning

What we look for:

  • Intellectually curious candidates, and lifetime learners who want to continually get better at their job.  While this position will be mostly task oriented early on, we want a candidate that can expand and take on greater responsibility as their knowledge base and confidence grows over time.
  • We want a candidate with a strong work ethic, and someone who was a high performer in college and at their previous/current employer.  A background in tax, financial planning, and/or estate planning would be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Post-graduate studies a plus
  • 2+ years’ experience in professional services (accounting, legal, wealth management or similar)
  • Must have or be capable of an committed to pursuing and achieving specialized professional designations  (i.e., CFP, CFA, CPA, CPWA, CIMA) or higher-level education equivalent within one year of assuming the Associate Financial Advisor role.
  • Must hold SIE, Series 7/66 or Series 7/63/65 licenses.
  • Excellent presentation skills, very strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proven self-starter, highly motivated, with the ability to work independently.
