One of the nation’s leading wealth management firms is looking to selectively add to its team of wealth advisors in New York. As a Private Wealth Advisor, you will work directly with high net worth individuals and families to create customized plans for protecting and growing their wealth across generations.
You will also help nonprofit foundations and endowments realize their long-term financial objectives through effective planning and investment management. You will be provided a full support structure to help you build your own practice by cultivating prospective clients and referral sources to develop your book of business.
You will work alongside a diverse team of advisors and have a dedicated client service team to support the individuals, families, foundations, and endowments that you serve.
The ideal Private Wealth Advisor candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required, CFP, CFA or MBA a plus.
- At least 10 years of wealth management experience
- You have an established and portable book of business, or a referral network that will allow you to recreate a book of business .
- You are actively involved in your community, engage with charitable organizations and cultivate a strong network of wealthy individuals who value the expertise you bring to the table.
- You are well versed in various investment and financial planning topics and committed to excellent client service.
- You are a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to sophisticated high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Your expertise will help clients reach their financial and life goals.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and love for sales and a proven ability to identify new prospective clients, establish new client relationships and cultivate COI relationships
