As an associate Financial Planner, you are responsible for reviewing an organizations or individual’s finances and developing a strategic plan to help them achieve and maintain their financial goals, including the identification of potential risks or opportunity for growth.
- Work directly with the firms head financial planner to support the firm’s financial planning department. Work with the firm’s advisors to enter client financial data and prepare a written financial plan. Analyzing clients’ financial status, which includes documentation, expenses, liabilities, and income, to understand their specific needs. Coordinate with firm departments/teams to implement investment and insurance solutions Collaboratively work with firm departments/teams and staff to collect, track, maintain, and keep client records updated. Maintain working relationships with a variety of clients and/or departments and keep them apprised of any financial developments. Keep current with developments in financial products, tax law, and financial management strategies, particularly concerning retirement plans and estates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting Experience with eMoney is required Registered fiduciary- Series 6 and 65 or Series 7 and 66. Being a Certified Financial Planner is helpful, but not required. Strong data analytical and innovative problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Interpersonal skills that allow you to network and manage and maintain client relationships. Advanced understanding of economics to understand and assist a client to accomplish their goals.
Salary dependent on level of experience and education.
