We are an independent, employee-owned, RIA specializing in comprehensive financial planning and asset management, dedicated to building long-term client relationships. With offices in Andover and Newburyport MA, ours is a knowledge-diverse team of experienced advisors who have specialties in investments, taxes, insurance, small business management, and retirement planning. We are looking for a Financial Planner to join our Newburyport office, to take on an existing client base and work with the senior planning team to satisfy our clients’ sophisticated planning needs. The ideal candidate, who could be on an early-to-mid-career planning or tax compliance track, will join a friendly and collegial team, eager to share our experience and encourage career advancement and ownership opportunities.
Financial Planner Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and deliver financial plans for review
- Implement financial plans under the supervision of Managing Planner
- Participate with Investment Committee to research and manage client portfolios
- Participate in client meetings, deliver presentations and answer questions
- Take clients through reviews and follow-up
- Work with our planning team on meeting prep and follow-ups
- Understand and support the firm’s vision, mission and strategy
- Participate in the completion of the firm’s strategic initiatives
- Work with Managing Planners to grow the firm in a manner consistent with our vision
- Improve the referral stream through outstanding client service
Financial Planner Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with CFP certification (or on track for completion), CPA or EA
- Ideally, three to seven years of client facing financial planning experience
- Foundational understanding of comprehensive financial planning and asset management
- Tax experience is a strong plus
- Expertise in client service
- Project management of client assignments
- Communication with clients and internally within the team

This is a full time, in office position.
