Head of Financial Planning

GenTrust is a Registered Investment Advisory firm, providing a comprehensive array of investment solutions to ultra-high net worth individuals, families and institutions, with offices in Miami, New York and Puerto Rico. We are currently seeking a Head of Financial Planning to lead our planning division. The candidate must be a Certified Financial Planner (CFP©), be comfortable building complicated financial models and be versed in advanced planning techniques and various trust structures such as SLATs, GRATs and CLATs. As the Head of Financial Planning for GenTrust, the candidate will work closely with clients and financial advisors in a collaborative environment to assist with all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and design. The candidate will also be expected to work closely with outside experts in the legal, accounting and insurance fields in order to provide robust and holistic financial planning solutions to firm clients. Additionally, the candidate must be able to understand client goals and conduct financial analysis, which may include income tax consulting, retirement analysis, estate planning, and charitable giving.
