Eagle IARs provide comprehensive investment advisory and financial planning capabilities. Through our "protection first" planning philosophy and backed by solutions that leverage New York Life’s financial strength and mutuality, our advisors can tailor a plan to help their clients reach their long-term goals and withstand unforeseen fluctuations through insurance, annuities, brokerage (including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and specialty asset classes), and other products.
 

Summary of Responsibilities:

 

The role of the Case Consultant is to create and review financial plans for Advisors while providing world class service
and support. The Case Consultant will work proactively with Advisors, their staff and home office associates to drive
planning results and plan implementation while providing a client ­focused experience.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

•   Provides financial planning advice and expertise while supporting individual Advisors and their staff to address a wide range of planning issues including but not limited to: Retirement Planning; Investment Planning; Estate Planning; Protection Planning. 

•   Analyzing client’s current situation in relation to their goals, stress testing through various What- ifs and ultimately creating a recommended plan based on customized strategies.   

•   Identifies efficiencies and best practices for advisors running a fee-based practice including guidance on, pricing, positioning and case design workflow.

•    Initiates and provides leadership in special projects designed to promote advice ­driven services.

•    Demonstrates baseline knowledge regarding company products and solutions.

•    Works with other departments within larger New York Life organization to leverage knowledge and expertise

•    Participates in the development and delivery of financial planning training programs for Advisors and other
associates

 

Job Requirements:

•    Minimum of five year's experience

•    Bachelor’s degree

•    Series 7 and 66 is required

•    Current Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), required

•    Experience using financial planning software ( eMoney preferably)
