Position Overview

Initial duties include working alongside the Advisor, servicing existing clients, making active outbound calls to set appointments with prospects and existing clients, client relationship building, and harvesting new revenue opportunities from the client book of business.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, present, implement, update, and maintain customized financial plans acting in a fiduciary capacity
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements
  • Educate and assist clients with annuities, life insurance, long-term care, and investment options
  • Provide holistic financial planning recommendations and guidance including investment, insurance, taxes, healthcare, estate, retirement and other key financial decisions
  • Develop, manage, and retain strong client relationships, seeking to gain referral opportunities
  • Strive to meet own goals and assist team members in meeting team goals
  • Manage Client Retention
  • Discover potential financial opportunities from existing book of business and make recommendations that would be in the client’s best interest
  • Develop and deliver Client Reviews, Retirement Success Plans, and financial plans
  • Conduct regular Retirement Success Plan Reviews and follow up on action items resulting from meetings
  • Keep careful records of all client interactions
  • Be proactive in anticipating, monitoring and recommending plan changes and document plan implementation
  • Ability to retain, nurture, grow, and expand client relationships 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of financial services experience with an emphasis on sales
  • CFP or ChFC; Life and Health Licensed; Series 65
  • Knowledge and ability to build and execute financial plans for clients
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, and management skills
  • Ability to act in a fiduciary capacity
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point)
  • Experience with Redtail/CRM and financial planning software preferred, but not required
  • Willingness to work flexible business hours
