Position Overview

This advisor will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with company leads from seminars, referrals, and marketing. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is a closer. Initial duties include working alongside the Sr Planner and Associate Planner performing 1st, 2nd and 3rd calls to move the prospect to client.  Personal prospecting is encouraged as well.

  • Personable attitude and willingness to build relationships with prospects
  • Ability to explain complicated financial concepts in an easily understandable way
  • Familiarity with interpreting financial data (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, taxes) preferred
  • Constant learning mentality. Ability to learn and retain a wide variety of subject matter
  • Team player willing to take initiative to help when needed
  • Self-starter who does not need to be micromanaged/ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving/troubleshooting ability will be a necessity
  • Ability to prioritize and seek assistance in determining task sequence
  • Willingness to take initiative and proactively follow up with clients
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to a changing environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong sales experience with successful sales history and track record
  • 5+ years of financial service experience required
  • CFP or ChFC; Life and Health Licensed; Series 65
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, and management skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Experience with CRM required
  • Strong Client Service skills, mentality and attitude
  • Insurance, Investment and financial services experience
