About this Position
This individual will work with advisors to develop personalized financial plans for clients as well as act as Subject Matter Experts for financial planning topics and methodology.
Responsibilities

Develops personalized and comprehensive goal-based Financial Plans for advisors and senior advisors to deliver to their clients. Advice provided includes, but is not limited to, retirement planning, investment planning, budgeting, saving, and spending analysis and Social Security claiming strategies.

Updates financial plans each year, or when a life event occurs, for managed clients in Retirement Advisory Service.

The planners continually support the Advisors and other associates with investment and financial planning related training and coaching.

Work with business partners in Legal and Compliance, Oversight, Brokerage Operations, Multi-Asset and Product Management as needed to provide greater depth and breadth to the financial advice we provide our clients.

Help client facing associates better navigate client conversations about a various of complex financial planning topics.

Contributes suggestions for program enhancements, ensures up-to-date knowledge of and fluency in new capabilities related to investments advice, financial planning, and financial education. Identifies areas for improvements, evaluates existing policy, and partners with peers and management to offer suggestions for change.
Typical Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

5+ years of total relevant work experience

CFP® certification
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses 7 and 66 are required for this role.
SIGNING BONUS
We’re offering a $2,500 sign on bonus presented in your first paycheck and an additional $2,500 bonus after six months in the role as an employee in good standing.
*If you remain employed with T. Rowe Price for a period of six consecutive months and are an employee in good standing on the six-month anniversary of your date of hire, you will receive the additional second installment bonus detailed above. Current contingent workers not eligible. Prior T Rowe Price employees who have left the firm within the last 6 months are not eligible.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week after the successful completion of a training program.
Wage Transparency Disclosure*
Expected starting salary for this role is $98,500.00.
The salary range for this role, based on experience is, $80,000- $136,000.
*Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, S9427A when hiring in New York, and SB 1162 when hiring in California.
