The Legacy Foundation is seeking a motivated individual to assume the full-time role of Associate Wealth Advisor. This position will be responsible for supporting and serving the firm’s clients in a collaborative and efficient manner. This position is a perfect fit for a self-starter who has excellent time management skills, a service-experience mindset, and a desire to work at a firm that is committed to making a positive impact through socially responsible investing. This candidate will enjoy working within a small team to provide excellent customer service and premier financial planning advice along with learning to use the most advanced financial planning software.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop financial planning strategies in consultation with lead advisor, propose recommendations, and assist clients with implementation
  • Manage client financial plans, monitor client activity, and service client needs
  • Participate in client meetings and become integrated into the client relationships
  • Explain financial planning, tax, and investment management concepts and strategies to clients through written and verbal communications
  • Coordinate the document and data gathering process with clients and prospective clients
  • Prepare meeting materials, assemble financial reports, model scenarios in eMoney, and ensure tasks are properly tracked in a CRM tool
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as skills are developed

 

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience in financial services or a related field
  • CFP® or currently enrolled CFP® candidate preferred
  • Trustworthy, ethical, hard-working and growth-minded
  • Preferred experience utilizing: eMoney, Redtail CRM, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong follow-up and communication skills
  • Excellent client-service and relationship-management skills
  • Aptitude for applying financial planning knowledge in real-life situations
  • Well-organized and self-driven (will be expected to self-manage and meet deadlines)
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills are a must
  • Excited to take on new challenges and adapt to change
  • High emotional intelligence for dealing with sensitive client issues

 

Compensation & Perks:

  • This will be a full-time W2 position
  • Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
