The Lead Advisor will manage existing client relationships and provide financial planning and overall investment advice to a specific set of our wonderful client households. This is an advanced level position, and we need an experienced CFP® who has spent several years managing client relationships. Although we do not provide legal or tax advice directly, the advisor needs to understand complex legal and financial documents and be knowledgeable of financial laws and legal restrictions, as well as, have a good command of financial planning, investments, estate planning, tax planning, employee benefits planning and insurance planning.
This candidate will organize and direct client meetings, analyze financial and personal information, lead financial planning meetings and monitor outcomes. These duties require a strong desire to lead and coach clients and monitor the action steps developed in the financial plan.
Investment portfolio management and client reporting duties are handled by other team members, but the Lead Advisor is responsible for building strong chemistry and trust with each client, communicates effectively with clients and translates each clients’ needs internally, and is accountable for consistently ensuring client deliverables and promised service levels are met.
A persuasive and articulate communication style is essential. The ability to use databases and conduct financial research, in addition to excellent math skills, are necessary for success in this position.
