This Opportunity

We are currently seeking to add a Wealth Advisor with a strong background in financial planning and investment management. After an initial training period, the primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will focus on client relationship management and retention. This role will include reviewing and presenting financial plans and investment recommendations and ensuring that all client tasks are managed in a timely and prudent manner. The Wealth Advisor position requires a goal-oriented, self-motivated professional person with a keen and instinctive ability to read and understand client needs. He/she must be familiar with and fluent in the understanding and communication of a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures.

General Responsibilities:

  • Work with a group of clients, conducting on-going client meetings, including annual, semi-annual, or quarterly meetings/calls, and providing concierge level servicing
  • Demonstrate excellent people skills with confidence in the delivery of advice to clients via conference call, video or face-to-face meetings—excellent verbal and non-verbal communication a necessity
  • Ability to always maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality consistently and reliably
  • Prepare, coordinate, and follow through on any needed communication with new or existing clients
  • Continuously monitor clients’ financial situations with detail and accuracy with the ability to the look at the big strategic financial picture
  • Dedicated to networking, continued education, and establishing expert relationships with strategic partners in our community
  • Position supported by strong client services and portfolio management team           

Qualifications:

  • Professional and knowledgeable demeanor with a positive, up-beat attitude
  • Enthusiastic about helping clients solve complicated financial and investment management problems
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • CFP required
  • Knowledge and experience in the securities industry, regulations, financial planning, and investment management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skill including a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client’s needs and requirements
  • Show initiative; a self-starter and a problem solver
  • Interact effectively with advisory and client service professionals and be a goal-oriented team player
  • Accurate and attentive to detail
  • Demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills, meeting deadlines and performing multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience with a variety of financial software: Orion and Junxure preferred; eMoney experience highly preferred
