We need an analytical REMOTE Director of Financial Planning to join our growing our Fee-Only Virtual RIA.

This is a HYBRID role, where you will function as follows:

 

  • As our Director Financial Planning (65-70% of the role), AND
  • As a Senior Financial Planner (30-35% of the role)

Qualifications

 

  • CFP®
  • Solid track record of both creating the initial plans for lots of high net-worth clients, AND running lots of high net-worth client relationships
  • Solid track record of being the Director Financial Planning at your RIA (whether in name or in function)
  • 10+ years of analytically rigorous financial planning (across various roles/levels)
  • Significant experience directly supervising financial planners
  • Very clear thinker and communicator (verbal & written)
  • Interested in Retirement Income Planning for 55-70 with $2-8M
  • Well organized and respectful of client service standards (deadlines)
  • Thrive in a start-up culture
  • Very comfortable saying “I don’t know” and “I need help”
  • Consistently demonstrated our core values (client service, curiosity, transparency, tenacity & rigor)

Director, Financial Planning Duties

 

  • Build & manage the team of Planners & Client Service Associates
  • Own & maintain our financial planning Templates & Workflows, and the Knowledge Base that supports them
  • Develop and own planner training programs(s)
  • Maintain our suite of planning-related software
  • Assist Lead Planners (C1’s) with complex (rare & not in playbook) client planning cases
  • Work closely with our Client Experience leader to architect and ensure an outstanding
  • Work closely with our CRM & Tech leaders to 1] generate and capture and maintain the data needed to ensure and outstanding CX, and 2] identify opportunities for automations & integrations
  • Work closely with CIO & Trader to ensure a smooth and compelling investment experience for all our clients

Compensation

 

  • Full-time W2
  • Base Salary $135-150K (commensurate with skills & experience)
  • Bonus (up to $100K based on the size of your book and your effectiveness leading financial planning for us)
