Lido Advisors, LLC, an established and expanding wealth management firm, is looking for a Financial Planner to join its Advanced Wealth Planning Team. The Financial Planner will play an integral role in effectively sourcing business prospects and employing member acquisition techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present cases on planning calls for both clients and prospects with assets from $1m - $10m.
  • Consult and develop financial plans and wealth management strategies based on clients’ financial and investment goals.
  • Participate in calls with senior planners and attend debrief sessions to give and receive constructive criticism; including participating in role play scenarios.
  • Continue to build upon knowledge of Lido’s tools, and all aspects of financial planning in general (tax, estate, insurance, investments, employee benefits, etc.).
  • Meet with clients on an ongoing basis to review changes to their financial and personal situation.
  • Assist in developing content for webinars, Monday morning calls, and AWP website.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to have articles published.
  • Effectively source business prospects and employ member acquisition techniques.
  • Assist in data gathering in anticipation of upcoming planning meetings.
  • Monitor and update client Financial Plans as needed.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • CFP Designation or pursuant of CFP.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Financial Planning.
  • Experience using a financial planning tool is required, eMoney experience is preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, technically strong, and an enthusiastic, effective team player.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to self-start, take initiative, work collaboratively, and drive results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range below is an estimate and may be modified in the future.
