Director of Financial Planning

The Director of Financial Planning (DFP) is the engine behind the client experience, responsible for the development and implementation of wealth management solutions for our clients. The DFP should have a high attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box when it comes to planning solutions for clients.

Responsibilities & Activities:

• Generate error-free financial plans and recommendations for clients (eMoney)
• Organize the financial planning reports into a presentable format that tells a story
• Oversee our portfolio management software (Black Diamond)
• Present ongoing planning and investment solutions and recommendations to clients
• Actively communicate with clients to ensure the process continues to move forward
• Develop new business generation ideas for existing clients and prospects such as insurance and estate planning strategies
• Investigate and implement sophisticated strategies for HNW clients and business owners
• Prepare and follow up on document requests
• Demonstrate the client portal to new clients
• Manage clients’ portals and financial plans and respond to any aggregation or user issues that arise

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• CFP, CPA, or CFA designation
• Extreme attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills
