TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent financial advisor practice based in Indialantic, FL is looking for someone interested in a career as a Financial Planner to join her team. This motivated person would go through a paid three-year program that concludes with obtaining the CFP certification. This is a female-owned financial planning and investment management company in the Melbourne, Florida area. Potential candidates will work with the Financial Planner and Executive Assistant to serve clients efficiently across a wide spectrum of financial needs. This firm manages more than $100 million in assets.

 

Level One – Paid Intern - 3-9 months

The position is responsible for handling day-to-day office workflow as well as ongoing client communication and relationship management. For the individual on the path to earning their CFP, this role provides the opportunity for meaningful growth and mentorship under a seasoned financial planner with more than 30 years of experience.

Level Two – Resident - 9-18 months

This position expands on the duties above and also involves a 50/50 split between learning and productivity using the financial planning software.

Level Three – Paraplanner – CFP Candidate 12-18 months

Advancing to this level will change the position to a 25% learning and 75% productivity, in preparation for shadowing the financial planner and participating in client meetings.

Level Four – Certified Financial Planner - 3 years’ experience

Reaching Level 4 prepares you to take responsibility for the clients of a firm and develop your own client roster, whether with this practice, or at another firm.

 

Requirements:

  • A 4-year college degree

  • Experience with Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Ability to work and problem-solve independently
  • Dedication to self-improvement and ongoing skill development with high level of job ownership
  • Positive attitude and energetic presence
  • Availability 9-5 Monday – Friday
