We are seeking an experienced candidate in our Thornton, CO office. We also have office locations in Grand Junction, CO and Albuquerque, NM.

Position Purpose
Ethos Financial Partners is a premier Ameriprise franchise. We are a thriving and growing financial advisory practice and are seeking a candidate in our Thornton, CO office to fill time internship role over the summer and ideal continue part time through the school year. Our internship program is designed to provide an inside look at the financial planning practice and small business operation. Through training and experience an intern will assist advisors and staff members while also gaining exposure to client service, financial planning, marketing, and internal operations.
Job Description
Help conduct the operation of a financial advisory practice with an independent franchisee of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations allowing the advisor to focus on client acquisition and deepening client relationships.
Provide support across the business through a variety of different projects that may include scheduling meetings, preparing client communications, tracking new business correspondence, setting up and maintaining the client management system, and coordinating marketing events.
Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
Position Functions:
Client Service
- Greet and extend hospitality to clients and document client communications
- Conduct client appointment reminder calls and check-in calls on follow up items
- Attend and notate client meetings
- Draft summary letters from client meetings
- Prepare agenda and financial planning notes for weekly meetings
- Scanning & verification of client documents
- Gather data for due diligence tracking (Mutual funds, Active portfolios etc.)
- Update client files to assist in maintaining compliance requirements
- Provide service and assistance to clients through our task work order system
Marketing
- Preparing for and working company events to help generate new leads
- Maintaining and updating advisor websites to help build brand awareness
- Update drip marketing campaigns
- Research best practices and new event opportunities
- Completing gift tasks for current and new clients
- Submitting gifts and leads through our online compliance system
Operations and Other Projects
- Complete office productivity and technology projects
- Identify process efficiencies
- Other duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Effective communication with clients, advisors and staff
- Strong computer and phone skills
- Efficient time management, organization, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
- Ability to adhere to rules and regulations required by advisors and Ameriprise Financial
- Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance
- Positive attitude and sincere willingness to continually learn and grow
Educations and Other Designations
- High school degree or higher
- Enrolled college student (Preferably Sophomore or Junior status)
Salary
- $20/hour
